5 LAKES KENNEL CLUB IS PLEASED
TO ANNOUNCE OUR "JULY SUMMER HEAT" FUN EVENT, SCHEDULED FOR JULY 15TH AND 16TH, 2006. SIGN IN BEGINS AT 10:00AM ON JULY
15TH, AND AT 11:00AM ON JULY 16TH. THE EVENT WILL BE HELD AT THE ALAIDEON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 1723 OKEMOS RD, MASON,
MI 48854. PLEASE CONTACT PATTI CHRISTMAS FOR MORE INFORMATION AT 517-256-1017.
This site is brand new and we are working on it daily.

The Month in Review
A note from Patti:
Attendance for the meeting that was held on February 4, 2006 was pretty low.
We had a few responses in regards to the meeting from a few people that were unable to attend, but from several members we
had no response.
Officers were elected, and will remain the officers for 1 year. We discussed
several different fund raising options, and what direction we would like the club to go. One of the issues we discussed,
was the annual fee that was due to Continental Kennel Club. We needed to submit a $50.00 due, which has been taken care
of. We also discussed the need for insurance, which has also be taken care of. There has been a loan for the first
quarter installment for the insurance, and we all need to put our heads together and come up with ways to raise the $350.00
for the insurance for a year.
We are still working on securing an indoor arena where we can hold winter training
sessions. If someone has any idea, please share this with us. Currently, the club has no monies in it's account
so this must be taken into consideration when trying to secure an arena (we need to go "cheap" or "free" space for awhile).
At this time, I am asking for all members to contact me to let me know whether or
not they are still interested in being members. I need to know that the "want" of such a club is still present and need
